Jimi said "fuck you", off mic. It was apparently to the guy with the camera right at the front of the stage, you can see it and hear it best in the footage. Audio sources are more distant so you won't hear it as well.

As for unkind audiences, Jimi had his share in September 1970, with a portion of the audience booing in Berlin (September 4) and of course in Fehmarn (September 6)  Sad, really.
