Témoignage de Eric Burdon : " The first time I heard him play was in a rehearsal room putting together the New Animals, ans this shadowy figure stepped into the room wearing a large western sombrero kind of hat, beads aroud it, and looked almost sort of purple you know, in the darkness of this club and he just grabbed hold of Vic Briggs' guitar and in the same instance said : "Do you mind if I have a jam ? ", you know, and carcked up into a blues, uptempo blues jam with John Weider, Barry Jenkins and Danny Mc Culloch from my band. Just leapt in and chased them on this incredible jam, and I mean the sounds just rocketed around the room, like ricochetted around the room, I was totally stunned and from that point on I became unashaedly a Jimi Hendrix addict..."

Note: C.Glebeek pense qu'il est très improbable que Jimi portât un couvre-chef à cette date.

Je ne dispose que de la "source C.Glebeek" , tout de même autorisée, et qui mentionne "fin sept". A recouper avec d'autres sources pour dégager une plausibilité renforçée ou affaiblie...

Briggs ne parle pas de ce jam dans une salle de répétition.
