Martin Power revient sur les dates du Jeff Beck Group où Hendrix les rejoint dans Hot Wired Guitar - The Life of Jeff Beck :
“I’d already jammed with Jimi [at Daytop],” Beck confirmed, “and The Scene was just six nights of bliss. He used to come on at the end of our set. With Jimi, you felt like you were part of something massive, history being made.” In town to work on his third album, the career-defining Electric Ladyland. (...) Hendrix’s appearances alongside Beck in New York weren’t just confined to fiery guitar duels. Instead, he would take whatever instrument came to hand while onstage, including wearing Jeff’s guitar upside down or simply using Ronnie Wood’s bass guitar. “Jimi liked Ronnie Wood so much,” said Jeff, “he actually gave him a basset hound as a present.” Another visitor to The Scene Club was Eric Clapton, who jammed alongside both Beck and Hendrix one memorable night. “Sadly,” said Jeff, “no one has a bootleg tape of it.”

Ça laisse rêveur de les imaginer, à défaut de les entendre, jammer ensemble
